If I was single, truly on my own, I would starve to death. As it is, with an expense account at my disposal, I generally subsist on what a drive-thru on the way will dispense to me. I'm worse at home; if the Husboy's not home and there isn't something in Tupperware ready to go in my belly, I usually don't bother. You think I'd lose some weight through my reluctance to feed myself when I'm by myself, but nooooooo. Apparently the sloth counteracts the temporary drop in calories.
I haven't knit in my new office yet, but I carry the Husboy's second sock with me at all times in case a knitting opportunities pops up. It occurs to me that, if one of those dinky little needles cracks under the pressure of being stuck in my purse, I am up a creek without a local yarn shop. What would I do in case of a knitting emergency?
All the search engines say that there is, in fact, a yarn shop in the general area. Unfortunately, I can't find any information about Fanciwerks Yarn Shoppe other than the address. Has anyone heard of/been to this ys? In any case, cross your stitches for my little wooden dpns.
