I Need Stickier Stickies

I am not a morning person by any stretch of the imagination; if someone starts being cheery at me before 9am I'll crack an eyelid just enough to find something to huck at them. This means that I get to be evening knitter, with a nice cup of herbal tea working away underneath a little lamp. Now, with the pleasures of being so damn picturesque come some setbacks, like the fact that I'm already a little addled and tuckered out from the day. The Husboy thinks its soooo cute when he comes home from work to find me asleep curled around the projet de'nuit, but all this nocturnal knitting takes its toll.

Like the hour I spent last night trying to figure out which generic adhesive sheetlet cooresponded to which set of instructions. It turns out that I was not, in fact, on the second go-around of Row 18 on the shawl, that belongs to the sock and may be an out-of-date note anyway. There were three sets of notes on the "brainless" Koigu socks, each belonging to a different attempt to have the second sock match the first experimental sock. The last sticky-note was blank, so it had to be the one I was looking for. Unfortunately, it was sitting at the bottom of the bag instead of manning its station on the instrutions...

I finally figured the mess out and am taking notes on the Notes instead of just sticking them about willy-nilly, but it occurs to me that stickier notes would have saved me a bungload of trouble. Do they still make super-stickies?

The Koigu Harvest socks are still trucking along, I blew through at least two inches watching The Simpsons Movie yesterday. I'm still trying to get "Spider-Pig" out of my head.

I am addicted to sticky notes! They are everywhere...sometimes where they shouldn't be. I have seen the super stickies out there so I think you're in good shape. They really do stick well. But, for things that I know I'm not getting back to any time soon, I still use a back up paper clip! Mostly. Unless I forget...
