Look how far I've gotten on the back of the $1.50 Cardigan!

When your post popped up in my Blogline, I nearly had a heart failure on your behalf! I saw the Boo-boo title and the first picture with the sunny patches on it looked like someone had spilled red dye on a white sweater. :O
Could you do a duplicate stitch to cover up the purl?
