I Need A Chinchilla

I am a schmuck. I totally forgot to take my camera on my visit to the Santa Monica Fiber Fest. I can't share the alpacas or the bobbin weaving or the icky silk worms. I can flash my goodies:

My much-needed dpn case, made by Boogybags, picked up from Gosh Yarn It.

Lisa Souza's Sock! in Mahogany. The yarns and colorways are lucious, it took lots of willpower to walk away with only one skein.

Then I lost that will power. Fat Bunny yarn from Lisa Souza, in Sapphire. I couldn't help it, I've already cast on for the Italian Job Hat. They had me at "it fits any size head".

Husboy's Aunt, who accompanied me to the festivities, picked me up some lovely stitch markers. See, knitting gift socks does have its rewards.

And, at a baseball game following the festival, I turned my first unassisted heel. Yay me!

Oh, and I need a chinchilla, the fiber is super soft!

Whoa! I haven't seen Fat Bunny in that color before -- a special dye for you, huh! I'll have to talk to her as that needs to be on her site!
