When I was told that I was not supposed to like brussel sprouts, I tried not liking them, I really did. Thankfully, for my mother's sake as well as my own, I was unsuccessful in this attempt to be like everyone else.
It's the same thing with finishing. I've heard so much whining about how people hate finishing, saying that it's the worst part of the process. I've tried to loathe finishing, but I just can't do it. I like weaving in my ends and sewing up the seams; it is just another part of the fun for me. I'm not very experienced with blocking, but I like doing that, too. I'm thinking of picking up this book in order to improve my finishing techniques.
What do you think? Is there a market for this idiosyncrasy? I don't think anyone would pay me to do it, but I'd be happy to trade weaving in the ends of someone else's sweater for goodies...
